Our Scena Wall Tapestry stands as a hallmark to the 18th century Rococo style artwork by Francois Boucher, beloved painter of Louis XV’s court. This fine piece brings luxurious Italian artwork to any room with its intricate detail and idyllic French imagery. Depicted in our jacquard wall tapestry is a group of courtiers whiling away the afternoon by a palace fountain with a river flowing around them. The group’s dress leads one to believe they have snuck away perhaps from the King’s court and will return once the sunlight wanes.
