Madonna di Medjugorie is an Italian jacquard wall tapestry. This representation portrays the statue of Our Lady as seen in Tihaljina. This statue is many times mistaken for Our Lady of Medjugorje and has become the image that many of us associate with Medjugorje. This may be due to the proximity of the two Bosnian towns and due to the description of the Marian Apparition in Medjugorie's likeness to this Madonna.
